President Trump Addresses Questions About Recent MRI Scan Amid Calls for Greater Transparency
Aboard Air Force One, President Donald Trump fielded questions from reporters about a recent MRI scan conducted during what the White House initially described as a routine physical examination. While Trump praised the results as “outstanding,” “excellent,” and “perfect,” he offered limited details, at one point stating he had “no idea” which part of his body had been scanned.
The scan took place in October 2025 at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center during Trump’s second physical of the year. The White House later characterized the visit as an “expanded wellness evaluation” aimed at monitoring the president’s health ahead of a busy schedule. Officials emphasized that such advanced imaging was precautionary, particularly suitable for a man in his late 70s facing the demands of the presidency.
